Ghana Coach Kwasi Appiah and his 23-man squad have arrived in the United States of America from Holland to fine tune their Brazil 2014 preparation.
The 23, plus injured central defender Jerry Akaminko, currently in plaster of Paris (POP) are doing their final camping in the US before they make a six-hour flight to Brazil from Miami.
The Black Stars, quarter finalists in last four year’s edition are scheduled to play their South Korean counterparts on June 9, in their final test game before flying to the soccer city of Brazil.
Reports from the team’s camp suggest that they have held their first training and are acclimatising.
The South Korea game offers coach Appiah and his technical team another opportunity to critically access his men and also to make amends for the Holland loss.
Ghana lost 1-4 to their Netherlands counterparts under Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac before the South Africa World Cup four years ago.
The Black Stars, in Group G with US, Germany and Portugal would begin their campaign with US on June 16, a side they have conquered two times successively in the same competition in Germany and South Africa.
