Spanish Giants Barcelona To Swoop For Ghana U20 Star Clifford Aboagye

Barcelona are keen on signing Ghana U20 midfielder star Clifford Aboagye, one of Spain’s biggest sports newspapers has reported.
According to the Sport Newspaper, scouts of the Catalan giants who were at the recent U20 World Cup have submitted a report asking the player to be signed.
The 18-year-old, was not among players tipped to shine at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey, hit the tournament by storm with his passing and dribbling ability.
Scouts of the team will now monitor his progress over the next few months to see if they can sign him in future as he is on the verge of completing a switch to Udinese.
According to Sport, Udinese, famous for their extensive scouting network, are set to sign Aboagye in the summer transfer window, but that will be no obstacle to a future move to Spain.
Aboagye, who was named the third best player in the tournament, will no Alexis Sanchez also spent several years at Friuli before he was allowed to join Barcelona in the summer of 2011.
Besides Aboagye, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and Roma starlet Nicolas Lopez were also among players who impressed the visiting scouts at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey.
Aboagye spent some time at Udinese last year and the relationship between the Italian side and Inter Allies is what has convinced the Ghanaian team to sell the teenage prodigy to the Serie A club.
