Serious Sabotage In The Gospel Music Industry To Be Exposed Soon
When reports come to our office which suggested that some industry people can sabotage the progress of some others partly because of competition, we took it with a pinch of salt until it happened in our presence.
Sabotage is indeed real in our industry and one wonders why that will be happening at a time that we are all supposed to be in the game with our talent and productivity or better still being hard workers. If you are an artiste, music producer, radio presenter, news editor or whatever and you will not work hard enough to improve on what you do, why envy that person who has decided to put hard work in his game.
In fact, we are putting this story out because it is in our best interest that some people will stop fighting against colleagues in the game but rather fight to improve on what they do. If you remember, Flex newspaper has reported a story of one Prophet Ofori who was sabotaged by another music producer so his songs will not get airplay on radio. What kind of a devilish attitude is this one at all in the first place?
Flex newspaper is gathering that one notable and popular music producer who has been noted for producing gospel music is sabotaging one artiste because they are not in good terms any longer. The story continues that after doing everything possible to patch up with this artiste without success, he is going out and about misinforming other producers not to work with the musician for his selfish interest.
‘Oh, how can you accept to produce and distribute an album which has been sold several weeks on the street in your shop. I am not sure you want to make profits that is why you have accepted this album. You are going to lose big time if you don’t take care because the album you are dealing with is never new but an old one indeed’ this producer whose name we would want to keep out of this story for obvious reasons told another producer who had agreed to distribute the latest album of a gospel artiste.
Even if there will be sabotage in the arts industry, where we expected to experience this heavily was the other side of the music divide and not the gospel fraternity where holiness is the watch word. We are sure this respected music producer will not be selfish enough to repeat this again else his name will be mentioned publicly for the greatest exposure ever in that regard. Already, we have heard about your ploy not to let radio presenters play the songs of the artiste, so if that has failed why devise other means to damage this harmless gospel artiste. God has seen you, so repent from your evil ways!!!
