Schools summit opens today
A two-day conference for schools and educators will commence from Friday, October 11 to Saturday, October 12, at the British Council, Accra.
The summit is being organised by e-toys, a member of the Digital Education Group (DEG) and its educational partners. This year’s summit, the tenth of the annual event, is themed; ‘The Innovative Educator.’
It brings together hundreds of forward-thinking educators including school proprietors and directors, school heads, managers and administrators, ICT Instructors, new and prospective school owners, teachers, after-school care providers as well as educational consultants.
Participants will gain insight into innovation as a catalyst to transformation and growth for successful organisations and individuals. It also offers participants proven ideas to grow and transform their educational career and schools.
A diverse ensemble of renowned and accomplished keynote speakers would deliver essential topics and stimulate participants for innovation.
According to Mr George Sackey, Executive President of e-tOYS, an added dimension to this year’s event is the introduction of ‘Morning Mentoring’, where distinguished educational experts would personally coach participants in smaller groups and one-on-one sessions to share ideas and inspire educators to achieve greater heights in the careers and schools.
Sponsors for this year’s summit include First Atlantic Bank, Brainy Baby, MySchool Box, MySchool SMS and e-schools solutions.
