Roland Garros: Tsonga thrashed by a huge Djokovic in knockouts!

The walk was too much for Jo-Wilfried Tsonga swept in the second round of Roland Garros by Novak Djokovic . The French, beaten in three sets, has ‘simply not been at the height’ of his Serb opponent this Sunday on the Central court. He has then been outmuscled in 6/1, 6/4, 6/1.

Djokovic, ‘very glad about’ his ‘match’ will play his 20th consecutive quarter final in a Grand Slam. The World No. 2 will face Milos Raonic . The seeded No. 8 on his side has moved past in three identical sets Marcel Granollers of Spain, 6/3, 6/3, 6/3. He is the first Canadian to reach the quarterfinals of the Internationaux de France.
