Ghana midfielder, Mohammed Rabiu was on the score-sheet on Saturday as Kuban Krasnodar thrashed Krylya Sovetov 4-0 in the Russia Premier League.
The former Udinese midfielder came off the bench in the 65th minute, and rounded off Kuban’s comprehensive victory by recording the 4th goal in the 79th minute.
That happened to be his first goal for the Russian side since joining them from French club, Evian TG at the start of the 2013/2014 season.
Rabiu is expected to be included in Ghana’s World Cup provisional squad, and subsequently the final 23 for the tournament in Brazil.
Ghana coach, Kwasi Appiah will release his 30-man provisional squad on May 12, 2014.
