Professional Footballers Congratulate Black Stars
The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana congratulates the playing body of the Senior National Team the Black Stars on their qualification for the knock out rounds at the 2013 African Cup of Nations.
The emphatic 3-0 victory against Niger showed the promise of the team. It also showed the high team spirit that is in camp and the mental strength and character of the players.
The PFAG would especially like to congratulate coach Kwesi Appiah and his technical team for creating this team unity and spirit that has been evident on the field of play. The leadership of veterans of Asamoah Gyan and John Paintsil is also noteworthy.
Finally, the PFAG wishes the Stars success for the matches ahead. It is the organization’s wish that Ghana is able to bring home the cup. It will not be easy but with unity and the strength of character the boys have shown, the sky is the limit.
