On June 5, 2014, Pastor Bempah again sent the remaining visas to the other victims on the internet and promised them that they would be travelling outside the country on June 13, and 15, 2014 respectively.
First complainant according to the police paid GH ¢ 53, 800, while second to sixth paid GH ¢ 69,500, GH ¢ 107,600, GH ¢ 12,000, GH ¢ 13,120.00 and GH ¢ 48,000 respectively.
On the given date that the victims were to travel, Pastor Bempah went into hiding and was never seen again.
The six persons reported the matter to the police and through investigations he was apprehended by the police.
He has been charged with the offence of defrauding by false pretences and would be sent to court soon.
