Okyenhene Leads Inspection Tour Of The Eastern Region And Petitions The President On Socio-Economic Challenges

The Okyenhene and President of the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin would lead a one day working visit to major areas in the Eastern Region on Monday, 21st July, 2014.

The Okyenhene will be in the distinguished company of Eminent Chiefs, Traditional Rulers and Members of Parliament.

The tour is to afford traditional leaders first hand interaction with communities and community leaders on social and developmental challenges particularly, to assess the condition of road networks and the deplorable social and economic infrastructure in the Eastern Region.

The tour would be rounded up with a public/press engagement at the Suhum Roundabout as follows:

AGENDA:Address by the Okyenhene detailing concerns and developmental challenges and expectations in the Region and Petitioning the President for a collaborative effort with Traditional Authorities for urgent redress.
