One of Ghana’s most sensational gospel music icons, Ohemaa Mercy, staged a brilliant live musical performance last Saturday at the free worship concert organised by the First Capital Plus Bank at the Tesano Baptist Church in Accra.
In a packed auditorium at the Tesano Baptist Church, patrons of the worship concert were spotted singing and dancing as the various artistes took to the stage, one after the other.
Majority of the music fans yielded in admiration to Ohemaa Mercy and No Tribe performances, pouring out their hearts in adoration.
Although Ohemaa Mercy has been singing since her secondary school days, she has attributed her success to constant prayers and reading of the Bible. Gifted and talented not only in singing but also dancing, Ohemaa perfectly exhibited her creative skill which dazzled the audience.
The style of performance of the various artistes that night also influenced all the music fans present.
The event was organised to give the public the opportunity of enjoying a worship concert with renowned gospel artistes such as Ohemaa Mercy, No Tribe, First Capital Plus Choir and a host of others.
The theme for this year’s occasion was: ‘Transformational Worship Night’.
Commenting on the event, the General Manager of Business Banking at First Capital Plus, Gifty Gorsu, explained that the event was to thank God for his abundant blessings as the company is preparing to make a transition from one level to the other.
She disclosed that the company’s cardinal value ‘is God-centeredness and as such the company believes it is important to promote this value through events such as the worship night.’
