The New Patriotic Party, NPP, is set to release the vetting results of its National Executives.
The party will also vote for positions on the ballot paper for the election.
This was announced by the Party’s Director of Elections, Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah.
He said not all the applicants vetted sailed through and said the party has put in place mechanisms to contain aggrieved candidates.
Meanwhile, after concluding its vetting of 44 aspirants vying for national positions, some reports suggest certain individuals have been disqualified.
Also before, the report could even come out, a group calling itself Youth for Paul Afoko, has warned the Vetting Committee not to derail the chances of their candidate from becoming the National Chairman.
However, Acting Communication Director of the NPP Perry Okudzeto has denied reports that Paul Afoko has been disqualified.
He made the denial on Radio Ghana’s Current Affairs Programme Behind the News that nobody has been disqualified.
