Controversial Nigerian personality Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, lamented that modern youth can’t rely on themselves in terms of employment, but count on white collar jobs.
Charly Boy, who is having hard times because his dad, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa (rtd), is in critical condition, stressed the importance of leaving the “comfort zone” to find a better life.
“Most of our graduates finish school and they sit at home, applying and re-applying for government job where vacant seats are already given away before applications are announced.”
He said the young people should go to the unknown places and face new life challenges.
“God has given each an everyone a gift and if we dig deeper, we may find it.”
