Marco Reus is keen on a move to Manchester United, according to his former Borussia Dortmund team-mate Mario Gotze, Sportinglife reports.
Manchester United are reported to be weighing up a summer move for Reus, with David Moyes keen to bolster his attacking options at Old Trafford.
Moyes is expected to spend big this summer after a disappointing first season in charge at United and Reus is reported to be one of his prime targets.
Reus’ future at Dortmund has been the subject of speculation for some time with a host of top clubs linked with moves for his signature.
The 24-year-old is regarded as one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe and Dortmund are bracing themselves for interest in Reus this summer.
Bayern Munich ace Gotze claims his ex-Dortmund team-mate and fellow German international Reus has his heart set on a switch to United.
Gotze is reported as saying in Germany, “When I was at Borussia, Marco wanted a move to Manchester United. He hasn’t changed.”
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola remains keen to keep Toni Kroos at Bayern Munich after the midfielder’s agent denied reports that Manchester United had made an offer.
