TomTom, the official candy of the Nigerian national teams, has been praised for being the brain behind a viable platform that provides opportunity for the coach of the national team to field questions from sports journalists and administrators on how to develop the game and make the team excel at all times.
These accolades came from no less football personalities than the Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, former national team stars Segun Odegbami, Augstine Eguavoen and Henry Nwosu.
At the 5th TomTom Editors’ Roundtable held on Tuesday in Lagos, Keshi said,“It is appropriate to thank TomTom for all it has been doing for Nigeria football. Its effort has been a great motivation for us.
It has great vision for the country’s football through its initiatives. If we have many brands like TomTom behind us, our football will keep moving forward and we will continue to make Nigerians proud.”
Odegbami on his part commended the brand for the initiative which would immensely contribute to the development of the game.
“I will like to thank Stephen Keshi for living up to the expectations of many Nigerians. He has been the most successful coach in the history of Nigeria. His only rival is his friend and mentor, Clemence Westerhof,” Odegbami said.
