Adebola Adeyoyo had a great career as a make-up artiste in the United kingdom. But the young lady is back home dropping the brushes and wands hoping her voice would make her a Nigerian Idol.
Born in Nigeria, raised in the United Kingdom, Adeyoyo who is also known as V.E.R.A (Voice Every Race Accepts), decided to come back to her roots to showcase her vocal talent through the Nigerian Idol platform.
“I have studied a lot of people in the industry like Tiwa Savage and Omawunmi, and I believe I have what it takes to get to where they are today,” said a confident Vera.
And her luck actually shone during the auditions. The judges fell in love with her. Just as soon as she finished the rendition of Jesse J’s Big White Room, Dede couldn’t hide his positive impression of her performance. As he said, “I am just going to affirm that you have been the best voice here today and give you a golden ticket.”
Meanwhile, award winning producer/singer Ayo Faboro, better known as Dr Frabz, has been chosen as the competition’s music director.
