It was high drama on The X Factor last night as the judges whittled down the acts at Boot Camp.
However, the drinking antics and shock exit of homeless singer Robbie Hance, weren’t enough to turn around the declining viewing figures.
Saturday’s episode attracted 7.86million on ITV1 – down from 8.6million the previous week.

The episode started off with 7.9million viewers – 8.3milion with ITV1+1 figures included.
The figures are down around 2million from the equivalent stage in the competition this time last year.

However, the two shows won’t battle it out again until October 5, when the proper Strictly series starts on BBC1.
