It’s the fear of every celebrity, that someone would be wearing the same outfit as they stepped out in public.

But Tulisa shrugged off the awkward situation with a smile as she was met by a fan sporting the same Christmas jumper on Monday.

The X Factor star was attending an album signing at a Tesco store in Birmingham.

The jumper in question comes from fashion brand Bank’s new winter collection.

And as the face of the high street retailer, it’s no surprise to see Tulisa in one of their designs.

But the curse of the high street and it’s easy availability to the public meant the 24-year old singer wasn’t the only one in that Midlands supermarket to favour its knitted charm.

The brunette fan paired her jumper with some grey skinny jeans, whilst Tulisa opted for a leather skater skirt, opaque tights and lace up boots all in black.

The Female Boss also matched her lipstick to the pink shade of the pullover with her darkest brown hair pulled back into a pony tail.

Tulisa wouldn’t be out of place at a quirky East London bar in this geek chic ensemble; a far cry from her usual look that’s often replicated by TOWIE cast members.

The Christmas jumper has become a retro fashion favourite over the years, the more garish the better.

Recently, former Big Bother’s Little Brother presenter George Lamb spoke out in support of the quirky holiday attire.
