Popular Ghanaian rapper Trigmatic is set to embark on an all girls’ high school tour.
Dubbed ‘The Matic Woman Tour’, it will kick off very soon as part of the rapper’s social responsibilities, years after benefiting from society in his career.
The tour will have Trigmatic stage performances at various major girls’ schools in the country while encouraging young women at those schools. The rap star told NEWS-ONE on Monday that the tour had a lot of side attraction performances and the schools should watch out for thrilling and learning moments.
Trigmatic, according to an earlier media report, had been championing gender balance and women empowerment; hence, the tour to step up towards his passion of seeing women getting their rightful places in society as tools for development.
Aside performances, Trigmatic will encourage and empower young women in the schools to develop themselves fully for societal usefulness and relevance. In essence, he seeks to create “the Matic woman”.
He said the “Matic woman” was an image of the perfect black woman who is proud, intelligent, independent and creative, with a high self esteem.
