School Drop-Out Releases Music To Support Nana Akufo-Addo

Alex Soantie

A 20-year-old school drop-out from Akwadum in the New Juaben Municipality in the Eastern region has created two tracks to support Nana Akufo-Addo’s campaign for the presidency.

Alex Soantie, who dropped out of school in class six because of the death of his father, is now into farming but has been doing music as a hobby.

Alex, who came to DAILY GUIDE’s office at Koforidua with the demo of his campaign songs for Nana Addo, said he decided to support Nana with his music because he believed that when Nana Addo became president, there would be hope for him.

“I am a true member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and want to help in this direction with the talent I have,” he said.

The two songs are entitled ‘Mom mma yenpia Nana’ to wit ‘Let’s Push Nana’ and ‘Ghanafoo mon nsoree’ meaning ‘Ghanaians arise’.

‘Mom mma yenpia Nana’ is a danceable song which talks about the empty promises of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and why Ghanaians must support Nana Akufo-Addo to become president.

Alex Suantie however appealed to officials of the party to help him come out with the master production so that it could be played on radio and rally grounds to help achieve his aim of helping Nana Akufo-Addo.

“I wish party people from New Juaben and elsewhere can come to my aid to release the music,” he said.

He gave his contact number as 0541028554, should anyone want to assist him.
