PSL announce TKO dates

Orlando Pirates celebrate their 2011 Telkom Knockout win

The dates and venues for the first round of the 2012 Telkom Knockout have been announced by the PSL.

The first match, to be played on Friday, 19 October will see last year’s TKO finalists, Bidvest Wits at home to Kaizer Chiefs at the Bidvest Stadium. Kick-off is 20h15.

The following day, Free State Stars will play Golden Arrows at Goble Park, while in the Mother City; Ajax Cape Town will host SuperSport United at Athlone Stadium. Both matches kick-off at 15h00.

On the Saturday night, Maritzburg United will face Moroka Swallows at the Harry Gwala Stadium. Black Leopards will play against defending champions, Orlando Pirates, at the Peter Mokaba Stadium. Kick-off for both fixtures is 20h15.

On Sunday, 21 October, Platinum Stars will travel to Durban’s Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium to take on AmaZulu. At the same time, newly-promoted Chippa United will host Bloemfontein Celtic at the Philippi Stadium. Kick-off is at 15h00.

Finally, Tuesday night, 23 October, Mamelodi Sundowns will be at home against University of Pretoria at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. The match will start at 19h30.
