Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al Khelaifi has revealed the prospective deal to bring David Beckham to the French capital is off.
The England captain is said to have opted to stay in Los Angeles with LA Galaxy.
When Al Khelaifi was asked if he thought Beckham would be staying in LA he replied: “Yes, I think so. David Beckham is in Los Angeles and will stay there.
“He will not come, it’s clear.”
Rumours of Beckham’s potential destination have been rife, with reports suggesting the Galaxy’s MLS Cup final win against Houston Dynamo was almost certain to be his final game for the club.
However, Beckham appears to have defied the odds and now looks set to stay in America where he and his family have lived since 2007.
