The Stranglers 1981 track Golden Brown was arguably the British band’s most successful single.
And Pippa Middleton seemed to embody it’s illustrative title on Monday night as she stepped out in a warm metallic outfit.
Attending a party to celebrate the best of W&W Jewellery, Pippa wore a high-wasted skirt thats two-tone fabric shimmered every time it caught the light.

The author matched her golden skirt with a Champagne coloured silk top, with black opaque tights and tan court shoes.
Her decolletage was dressed with a purple, brown and green beaded necklace that added some colour to the autumnal outfit.
However it was Pippa’s smile that truly lit up her natural looking face; a fitting expression from the party-planner for one line from The Stranglers’ hit states there is ‘never a frown with golden brown’.

W&W jewellers create bespoke pieces as well as rework existing jewellery to the client’s specification.
BUt their famous fans aren’t limited to those with royal connections.
Holly Willoughby wore two platinum and diamond versions of the W&W stacking
rings and a plain platinum version on the
final episode of Surprise Surprise on Sunday night.
Pippa was joined at the party by her close friend Katie Readman, who is also the face of W&W jewellery.
The PR girl’s dress was simpler in colour but far sexier with a halter neck and empire line to accentuate her bust.
With a simple watch and gold necklace, Katie allowed her strawberry blonde hair to brighten her look.
This isn’t the first time Pippa’s bestie has featured in a modelling campaign.
St Paul’s-educated Katie agreed to model swimwear designer Alexia Pinchbeck’s Bikini Fling range as a favour.
The images were then inked on to novelty cupcakes designed by Pippa’s brother James Middelton.
He produced five different images of her in edible ink.
Speaking of the cheeky cakes, Katie said, ‘It is quite embarrassing seeing pictures of myself on cupcakes, but I think they went down well and it was a cheeky way to display the styles.’
