Pastor Mensah Otabil honoured for promoting “African Heritage”

General Overseer for the International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensah Otabil has been honoured for promoting African heritage, at the maiden Africa Day Festival in Accra.

The Africa Day Festival is the brain child of Adfirst Media Consult held 25th May of every year as part of activities marking the Africa Union Day.

It aims to provide the platform to unveil opportunities in the African heritage to attract and promote the tourism industry.

Pastor Otabil has been described by many as one who appreciates African heritage by consistently wearing African clothing over the years.

Events and Promotions Manager of Adfirst Media Consult Joshua Nyamavor commended Pastor Mensah Otabil for his confident display of his pride as an African, by dressing the African way wherever he goes.

He said this has made the African wear marketable worldwide.

Mr. Nyamavor emphasised the need for Africans to appreciate their identity and develop it for the inheritance of future generations.
