Kannywood actor debuts in Nollywood

A multi-talented Kannywood actor cum singer, Sani Danja is gradually conquering the famous Nollywood industry, going by his recent exploits in the industry.

At the moment, the handsome entertainer is rounding off the production of a new movie that will launch him into the industry. The movie  titled “Daughter of the River” is currently being shot in Enugu and it is expected to round off this weekend.

Danja, who played the lead role in the movie, alongside other actors has been on location for the past 3 months, working round the clock to make the flick a talk of the town, when it finally hit the shelves in next few months.

The actor played the role of a Prince (Ojiofor Acolyte), whose identity was shielded away from the public because he was born outside the royal home. He was however, discovered when his father became bedridden and the search for the next King began.

In his words, “we’ve been working day and night to make this movie an award winning film. The movie has a lot a story to  relay to the audience.”, he quipped.

According to an insider, the movie promised to be one of the best ever produce in recent times in terms of quality of production and professionalism.

Directed by award winning Ernest Obi, “Daughter of the River”  starred the likes of Pete Edochie, Yul Edochie, Ebere Okaro, Eve Esin. petience Ozokwor and many other notable A-list actors.
