Crunchsports : Chelsea and Liverpool are on alert after contract talks between Arsenal and Theo Walcott reportedly reached a stalemate.
Walcott has around 15 months left on his existing deal at the Emirates Stadium and is also believed to be of interest to the likes of Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, and Tottenham.
Arsenal are keen to tie the England international to a new long-term contract before he enters the final year of his existing deal, and the player is believed to be happy at Emirates Stadium.
But according to Goal.com, Arsenal are refusing to meet Walcott’s personal demands.
The forward is wanting £100,000-a-week from the Gunners, who according to Wednesday’s report are unwilling to offer him more than £80,000.
