Berekum Chelsea Winger Asante Has Praise For Team-mates

Solomon Asante has praised his team-mates contributions to his form

Exciting Berekum Chelsea winger Solomon Asante is counting the contributions of his team-mates to his fine form in the Ghanaian Premier League. 

The 22-year-old dribbling magician has claimed four man-of-the-match awards in seven games and scored the opener for the Blues in their 2-1 win over New Edubiase United at the Golden City Park last Saturday.

He is expected to join English Premiership side Stoke City on a two-month trials after Tony Pulis’ side monitored his performance in the Caf Champions League.

The pocket-size wing-wizard says he owes much of his success on the pitch to his team-mates.

“Football is a collective game and when I get on the pitch mostly I try to work with my team-mates as much as I can and they also make great contributions to my performance,” Asante told

He is in the Ghana squad that play Cape Verde in an international friendly in Lisbon on Wednesday.
