“Appiah must stop searching and work with his core team” - Damba

Ex Black Stars goalie Abubakari Damba has advised Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah to halt the search of players and concentrate on building a core team for the 2013 Nations Cup in South Africa.

Kwasi Appiah since his appointment as coach of the Black Stars has rewarded active Ghanaian players with call-ups as he still hunts for a formidable team to represent Ghana at the AFCON and the 2014 World cup qualifiers.

But Abubakari Damba who is goalkeepers trainer of Accra Hearts of Oak wants the coach to concentrate on a core team and stop the justify-your- inclusion.

“We don’t have time from now to the AFCON so i will advise Coach Kwasi Appiah to get his core team and stop the search hunt”. Abubakari Damba noted on the JOY Sports Link show

“Coach Kwasi Appiah since his appointment has done so well in unearthing talents for the black stars but we are critical times now and we need to get a team that we can always rely on now”.

The Black Stars will play Cape Verde next Tuesday in an international friendly in Lisbon, Portugal as they prepare for the 2013 Nations Cup in South Africa
