Angola: Literature Movement Holds Fundraising Show for Leprosy Patients

Kuito — The Literature Movement of Maristas Students (MIOVILEM) is holding this Saturday in Kuito city, central Bié province, a fundraising show for leprosy patients confined at São José community.

The show will be enlivened by various artists, comedians and poets, namely Sílvio Muxima do Assobio and Victor Kambulukuta.

Speaking to Angop, one of the members of the oprganisers, Adilsom Sawamba urged the local citizens to appear massively in the show so as to socialize with the elderly people of that shelter home who are in need of support. About 200 leprosy victims are living in São José shelter home.
