NDC’s Plan To RIG 2016 Election Exposed

NDC Talk True, a youth group consisting of members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vowed to expose attempts by the party to rig the 2016 general elections.

They have therefore warned the leadership and members of the party who are involved in such criminal acts to desist from it since they would not hesitate to expose them.

“As much as we want to retain power, we cannot do same at the expense of Ghana and the Ghanaian. We are issuing a warning to all and sundry to desist from such criminal acts and we shall continue to speak up as objectively as possible because the essence of politics is to move Ghana forward” the group said.

In a press statement issued by Hamidu Abukari Bawa, the group said “a meeting of our elders, including President John Dramani Mahama, IT experts and a few of our Party’s hands at the Electoral Commission, many options for rigging elections 2016 were put across for discussion. These proposals found no favor with any of the participants with the exception of two plausible ways which were adopted as a road map to victory 2016 by our NDC elders.”

He said the plan is to make NHIS cards biometric and register as many people as possible on the program adding that “Currently, ongoing registration is massive in our strongholds.

Abukari Bawa said the Voting Biometric devices will be programmed to accept NHIS cards such that on voting day even children below the age of 18 will have the opportunity to vote for the NDC.

He said foreigners are being registered on the NHIS care as beneficiaries of the health insurance scheme just to queue up to vote for NDC adding that NDC has an agenda of winning one million votes in Ashanti Region.

“We deem it our patriotic duty to Mother Ghana to avert circumstances that will spiral out of control as we are unwilling to see our families, relatives, friends and the nation at large suffer. Indeed, even though we are a group made up of NDC youth, we feel that every fight should be balanced and fair, although our loyalty remains to the Umbrella” he said.
