NBA-Draft 2014 (1st pick): Cleveland target Cameroonian Joel Embiid

Drawn for the first choice of the next NBA draft (see the complete draft), the Cavaliers have the intention to strengthen their roster with Joel Embiid .

According to ESPN , the Board of Cleveland has long prioritized the track of the Cameroonian pivot. However, the Cavs, who already have in the paint Tristan Thompson, Anderson Varejao, Tyler Zeller and Anthony Bennett , should make up their minds after investigating on the back injury of the best defender of the NCAA.

Imperative on both sides of the field,  Joel Embiid averaged 11.2 points 8.1 rebounds and 2.6 cons this season, with Kansas.

Wingers Andrew Winggins and Jabari Paker , two other favorites for the first choice, are also highly prospective if Luol Deng decides to go elsewhere. Embiid first pick of the 2014 draft? The answer on June 26.
