My political future is in God’s hand -Nana Addo
The 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo, has broken his silence on calls by some party members and supporters for him to lead the party in the 2016 general elections.
According to him, he is seeking God’s face about the matter and make his decision known in due time.
Nana Akufo Addo, who says he is currently taking a break from politics, told some party executives from the Osu Clottey Constituency when they called on him at his residence, Friday that that while he had heard all the calls for him to run for a third time, he was currently concerned with the progress of the nation and not his personal political career.
Following the Supreme Court ruling that upheld the legitimacy of President Mahama as president of Ghana, there have been several calls from the rank and file of the party calling for the Nana Akufo Addo to rerun on the party’s ticket in the 2016 Presidential Elections.
