Muntari’s Brother Muniru Named Man-of-the-match In His Cluj Debut

Sulley Muntari’s younger brother Sulley Sarki Muniru was named Man-of-the-match in his debut match for his Romanian club FC Cluj on Saturday, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The Ghanaian was playing his first match for the former UEFA Champions League campaigners as they drew 1-1 with CSMS Iasi in their league match.
Sarki swept 51% of the votes after the game to be named man-of-match by supporters in his impressive debut for the Romanian top-flight.
He played 74 minutes before he was replaced by Ciprian Deac drawing a standing ovation and wild applause for his debut performance.
Sarki’s best moment of the game came in the 25th minute when his his piledriver from 25 yards was parried out by goalkeeper Irimia.
With this performance Muniru will expect to continue off from there to become a very important player for Cluj.
The former Liberty Professionals youth team player was unveiled by Cluj in January after failing to seal a deal with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Muniru, an offensive midfielder, was signed by Cluj as a like-for-like replacement for Senegalese Modou Sougou who has been snapped up Olympic Marseille.
