Mr Solomon Adjetey, a driver’s mate, said National Chocolate Day was a nice idea to promote the consumption of locally manufactured cocoa products but was quick to add that the local chocolates were not easy to find on the market.

He said he was enjoying the Day with his love ones enjoying chocolates.

Mr Richard Doku, a staff of Living Spring Daily Susu Agency, said the Day was very significant to him as a young man who is in love.

It would be recalled that in 2007, the Ghana Tourism Authority under the auspices of the then Ministry of Tourism declared Saint Valentine’s Day, February 14 as a National Chocolate Day as part of efforts aimed at promoting the consumption of Made-in- Ghana chocolate and other cocoa products.
