The May Edition of the Monthly Intercessory Prayers for Ghana comes off this Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Black Star Square, Accra at 7 a.m. prompt.
A statement issued by the group said Ghana ought to praise the Lord Almighty for He has kept the nation as the apple of His eye and hidden us in the shadow of His wings.
It said the programme had as its them, “O that Ghana would fear and keep His commands always so it might be well with her. Deutronomy 5: 29”
The statement also said prayer highlights would include petitioning God against gusty winds and devastating rainstorms and asking God to grant us seasonal rains, as well as not allowing the sun to smite us so as to enjoy bumper harvest instead of famine and also that the peace and security of the nation would not be compromised. The statement urged the public to remember that no drums and noise making instruments would be allowed this month at the Black Star Square. It said the attire was optional.
Similar prayer sessions will be held at the Jubilee Parks in Kumasi, Sunyani, Takoradi, Tamale, Bolga, and Wa. Cape Coast, Wesley Hall; Koforidua, Jackson Park and Ho, RTC Park.
