Mirror ball shines in black and Gold
Edwin Baffour of Tag Team Ltd, the event organisers expressed satisfaction with the planning and execution of the programme which was postponed from August 30 to September 6 due to the Supreme Court ruling.
‘ Many people were in Kumasi to support the Black Stars against Zambia and the Fetu Afahye in Cape Coast also drew a sizable crowd from Accra but the Mirror Ball still turned out as a well-attended programme,’ Baffour said after the event.
The party lasted till dawn as usual and patrons were treated to the usual barrage of old school classic tunes.
William Nanka- Bruce, better known as aka DJ Blow delivered his own version of a musical verdict and there was unanimous agreement on the dance floor. The complimentary gold masks adorned with exotic feathers animated faces on the dance floor and brought the theme to life.
Vodafone, one of the event sponsors offered smart phones and other attractive packages for the Mirror Ball patrons.
The Branche Lounge of the Golden Tulip Hotel hosts the Mirror Ball on each last Friday of the month.
The next event which is on September 27 will see the return of the ‘Polo Play’ theme where guests can come dressed in the finest Polo shirts and jeans.
