Medeama slip into relegation after Aduana defeat

Aduana Stars boosted their survival chances in the Premier League following a 1-0 victory against Medeama on Wednesday at Dormaa.

The result of the outstanding match-day-20 fixture hands Aduana three more points in their quest to avoid the drop though they still remain second from bottom.

Emmanuel Akuoko’s 62nd minute goal from the spot handed Aduana all three points with another game in hand.

However, Medeama have slipped into the relegation zone despite having three more games in hand on their rivals down the table.

Three bottom Clubs will be relegated at the end of the season.
