Medeama goalkeeper Joseph Halm is furious at the club over a recent suspension slapped on him for not reporting to camp after being granted time off for his wedding.
Halm has not been happy with the MTN FA Cup holders following the acquisition of Foli Adade from Ebusua Dwarfs in the offseason.
The young goalkeeper had a request to leave the club to join Hearts of Oak turned down.
He is now livid with the club for slapping an indefinite suspension on his head following his refusal to return to Tarkwa after his marriage ceremony with his girlfriend.
The shot-stopper says the club has been inconsiderate to his views and have treated him unfair.
“I have not been told anything by club officials only that a former player with the side who is now with Hearts of Oak – Samson Cudjoe – came to tell me I am suspended,” he told Kessben FM.
“I got very annoyed because I don’t know why such a message be given to someone who is no longer with the club to be passed on to me.
“I only took leave to go get married. If I have delayed in my return, has the club even bothered to ask why?
“All the signs point to the direction that they [Medeama] don’t want me because I don’t know how they can neglect a player they say they have a contract with.
“The issue is very simple, I am national team asset looking to regain my place and then you go and sign another national team player.
“And you know it is very unlikely for tow goalkeepers to be called from the same club to the national team and therefore I expressed the desire to leave. That is all.”
