Medeama determined to overturn deficit against Leopards to progress in Confederations Cup
Medeama are determined to overturn the 2-0 scoreline suffered against AC Leopards in order to progress to the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The Yellow and Mauves have it all to do when they host the Congolese club this Sunday at the Sekondi Essipong Stadium.
Medeama were on the end of dreadful officiating in their 2-0 defeat to Leopards but are already looking ahead to is widely considered the defining moment of their season on Sunday.
“The referee from Cameroon was simply dreadful on the day, he didn’t even allow us to play our football,” the clubs spokesman Tony Nkrumah Boateng told Metro FM.
“We have however put this defeat behind us and already looking forward to the game on Sunday.
“We want to assure Ghanaians that we will do our utmost best to overturn the scoreline and qualify to the next stage of the competition.”
Medeama are making only their debut appearance in an African club competition this season.
