Inter Allies on a mission to beat the drop

Inter Allies continued their quest to beat the drop with an impressive 1-0 win over Wa All Stars on Wednesday afternoon at the Tema Park.

Abdul Fatawu Safiu scored the vital match-winner Allies on the half-hour mark.

All Stars journeyed from the far Upper West region to Great Accra to face the improved Allies side and they displayed little energy and power to contend Herbert Addo’s boys for the points.

In terms of possession, it was lopsided affair for the last quarter of an hour as Allies mauled and outplayed their visitors, turning the tie into a training grounds rehearsed play.

However, despite their impressive run, they still remain in the danger-zone as King Faisal also recorded victory at the Baba Yara Stadium against Amidaus Professionals.

They are without defeat since suffering a 2-0 reverse against Amidaus Professionals at the Tema Park on Valentine’s Day.
