Match Report: AshGold SC 0-0 King Faisal

Pressure is increasing on AshGold SC Bashir Hayford and Kodjo Fianoo to quit their roles at AshGold after they failed to beat King Faisal in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

Fans at the Len Clay Stadium furiously expressed their anger at the end of regulation time after King Faisal held them to a 0-0 stalemate at their backyard.

The Miners have been without victory since beating Aduana Stars in March and fans of the club want CEO Kudjo Fianoo and Bashir Hayford ousted for non-performance.

The Hayford era at the club has been characterised with inconsistent results and heart-breaking defeats and fans want to end that fate by pressuring the duo to quit the club.

Though the pressure is boiling directly on the two, it has also been as a results of shambolic displays from the Miners’ players.

Shaffiu Mumuni and Didier Kore could have all scored to hand them the points at stake but they all missed glorious unimaginable chances.
