A Texas man charged with killing three women posted about one of the deceased victims on his Facebook page hours before his arrest.

Fort Worth, Texas man Cedric D. McGinnis Jr., 22, admitted to authorities to killing his ex-girlfriend and her family on Tuesday, and directed authorities to where they could find evidence of the grizzly slayings, according to a press release sent out by the department.

McGinnis allegedly killed 21-year-old April Serrano, his previous girlfriend, by shooting her in the head. McGinnis is also accused of killing the victim’s sister, 35-year-old Cathy de Leon, and the girls’ mother, 48-year-old Cynthia Serrano.

Husband and father James Serrano discovered the bodies of his loved ones at 8 a.m. the morning of the killings, the Star-Telegram reported.

“They killed my family!” James Serrano screamed in a 911 call.

Two of the victims suffered a gun shot wound to the head, the other a stab wound to the torso, according to the Associated Press.

Shortly after the killings, McGinnis apparently took to Facebook to express his condolences over the death of April Serrano.

“R.I.P April Marie Serrano mane,” he wrote. “It’s always the innocent ones that get f**ked over. Gone but never forgotten. RNS #lovetothefamily #lovetoher”

After learning of McGinnis and Serrano’s former relationship, authorities took the suspect in for questioning.

“McGinnis voluntarily agreed to speak with detectives,” the release said. “McGinnis eventually admitted his involvement in the murder of the three victims and advised detectives where evidence from the crime could be found.”

McGinnis is now in the Fort Worth jail with a bond of $1.25 million.
