Listen up: Glenn Tovey releases AIDS awareness song, ‘No Condom, No Sex’


Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Glenn Tovey, known in private life as Glenn Opoku is back  with a new single – ‘No Condom, No Sex’ – after a short hiatus from the Ghanaian music industry.

For some years now, Glenn after featuring on hit tracks such as, ‘Obaasima’ with De Lawa, and ‘Wa ho) f3 ti s3 Rosalinda with Nana Darkwa, has been absent from the musical scene due to engagements outside the country.

Glenn said in a statement that the new single, ‘No Condom, No Sex’ is a message to Ghanaians that, “AIDS is real,” and that “no condom, no sex” should be the theme for all.

After a long absence, he said he is back to Ghana to do music for good.

According to him, “Music is my soul, though I have other businesses, I love doing music.”

Commenting on the Ghanaian music industry today, Glenn said music in Ghana has grown tremendously, noting, “DJs and presenters are doing well but I plead with them to go the extra mile so Ghanaian music will be loud all over the world.”
