Lions keep chase for continental spot

Amidaus Professionals have slumped to the bottom of the Premier League table after dropping vitals points in their 3-1 loss at home to Heart of Lions.

Back from recess, Amidaus had the chance to draw level but Nana Poku missed a 48th minute penalty.

As Amidaus chased the game, Prince Acquah ensured that Lions put the game beyond the home team when he scored the final good in the 81st minute.

With Lions battling for Champions League football, the chase for tip-four places continued at the Wa Park where AshantiGold held held Wa All Stars to a goalless drawn game.

At the T&A Park, Medeama were 2-0 winners over Berekum Chelsea.

Malik Akowuah opened the scoring in the first half before Nathaniel Asamoah doubled their lead after recess.

In Cape Coast, Dwarfs won 1-0 over Bechem United to boost their chances of beating the drop.
