Latex Foam Rubber Products Limited has presented several items to support the Visibility Unit of the Northern Regional Police Command to effectively discharge its duties.

They include 10 tents, 40 plastic chairs, 100 reflective jackets and 25 student mattresses.

The timely donation of the items, notably the tents and mattresses, formed part of plans by Latex Foam Rubber Product Limited to provide shelter for police personnel who perform their duties at vantage points in the Northern Region.

Isaac Offei, Marketing Manager, Latex Foam, Kumasi Branch, presented the items to the Deputy Northern Regional Police Commander, ACP Oyirifi-Akrofi at a colourful ceremony.

In an address, Mr. Offei said Latex Foam was happy to use its resources to equip the security agencies, including the police to work.

The donation would help the police maintain law and order in the area, he indicated.

Mr. Offei reiterated the commitment of Latex Foam to continue to partner the police to make the country safe.

Some prominent people, including the Northern Regional Patrols Commander of the Ghana Police Service, ASP Hanna Adjei and Teye Asare, were in attendance.

ACP Mr. Oyirifi-Akrofi, on behalf of the Ghana Police Service, expressed his appreciation to Latex Foam for its continual support to the security agencies.

It recently presented several items, including mattresses to the Police and the Ghana Immigration Service in Kumasi at different functions.
