Kwesi Nyantakyi Must Resign – Takyi Arhin

f71b626699924 420111 Kwesi Nyantakyi Must Resign – Takyi ArhinFormer B.A Stars Chief Executive Officer and Football administrator, Takyi Arhin has labeled the current Ghana FA administration led by Kwesi Nyantakyi as the most corrupt in the country’s football history.

An undercover investigation by the Telegraph newspaper and English broadcaster Channel 4’s ‘Dispatches’ programme appeared to show Christopher Forsythe, a Fifa-registered agent, and Obed Nketiah, a senior figure within the Ghanaian FA, on camera claiming to be able to employ corrupt officials who would help to fix friendly matches played by Ghana.

On Sunday the Ghanaian FA revealed in a statement that they had reported the pair to the police for allegedly “misrepresenting the GFA with an attempt to defraud”, and Fifa says it is aware of the allegations.

However, the FA boss has denied the allegation and has threatened to sue the Daily Telegraph newspaper over its claim.

According to him, “the contents of the publication are not wholly true”.

But the ex-BA Stars Director, who is an avid critic of the Kwesi Nyantakyi led-administration, has waded into the debate by dismissing the claims of the Football Association’s chief, describing it as a big joke.

In an interview with Adom FM, Takyi Arhin strongly believes that, despite Nyantakyi repudiation over the issue, there is some truth in the allegation which FIFA is yet to investigate.

He however called on the FA boss to give up his post since his corrupt practices cannot cause the entire nation of a possible FIFA sanction.

“Kwesi Nyantakyi must resign,” he stated.
