Ghana go into the 2014 Africa U13 Milo Championship finals as title-holders but East African side Kenya have vowed to eliminate the West African giants from the competition.
Ghana must get past Kenya if they are to hold down their berth in the competition and fight to retain the crown they won as host in 2012 after making menace of South Africa.
The Kenyan technical handler insists he holds the antidote to stop Tamale Zogbeli Block A who are Ghana’s reps at the competition.
‘Nigeria and Ghana have been my target at this competition. Ghana won’t be a problem because we beat them in South Africa and I know how to beat them,’ he told Asempa FM’s Kusi Mensah.
‘Kenyan youth football is in a better state than the senior side.’
Nigeria, the host, open the tournament with an opening day clash with South Africa in Victory Island in Lagos before Ghana take on the Kenyans at the same venue.
The tournament’s regulation allows 30 minutes each half instead of the normal 45 minutes and there will be no extra-time should a game end in stalemate after the end of regulation time.
