Joxtex Frimpong Tips Enyimba To Win Federation Cup
Former Ghana international Joxtex Frimpong believes his former side Enyimba will win their third Federation Cup against Warri Wolves on Sunday.
Frimpong, who plays lower division football for SC Dudingen, in Switzerland, was voted Most Valuable Player (MVP) when Enyimba won their first-ever Nigerian Cup (former Coca-Cola FA Cup) in 2005.
‘My Enyimba years remain very special to me and I’m still a fan of the club. I’ve followed the club’s performance this season,’ Frimpong told supersport.com.
‘I must commend the technical crew and management for their consistency.
‘The club chairman, Felix Anyansi, has ensured the club’s legacies remain intact.’
Following their initial Cup victory in 2005, Enyimba added a second in 2009, but lost twice in 2010 and 2011.
