Interdicted Hearts chief Armstrong Mortagbe vows to clear name
By Osman Rahman
Interdicted Hearts General Manager Neil Armstrong Mortagbe has vowed to bounce back as he battles to clear his name.
The embattled chief is currently in the cooler after being accused of gross misconduct and abuse of office.
The FIFA marketing consultant is awaiting the investigation of a three-man committee set-up to look into many allegations including fraud.
But the former boss of National Chapter Committee has promised to bounce back in grand style.
‘There is a lot of fabrications and concoction against me but I shall rise again,’ he told GHANAsoccernet.com
‘I will not fret over wicked people, my faith has seen me through worse challenges and I am sure I will rise again.
‘I am looking forward and ahead knowing that every individual who is destined to be great someday has to pass through trials.
‘My confidence is in God he is my strength and the future remains bright, mark my words there will be surprises very soon.’
Mortagbe was appointed into the top position under a year ago but has seen the club fail in their attempt to recapture previous legendary status.
