The spokesperson of Hearts of Oak Muheed Saeed believes the current injury situation in camp coupled with bad officiating against the Phobians will make it difficult for them to win the Ghana top-flight.

The Rainbow Club trail arch-rivals Asante Kotoko with nine points separating them.

“I don’t think we can win the league with the constant injuries and bad officiating against us,” he told Goal Ghana. “Most of our first team players are out because of various degrees of injuries all because of bad officiating but we hope things will change.”

He added: “Hearts have a heritage to protect, the players are aware so I believe we will finish the season on high and qualifying back into the Champions League.

“Referees I think have a hidden agenda against us. Hearts of Oak have suffered immensely from referees’ errors, especially in our recent matches. If we are not able to win the league, I will blame the referees seriously although we have suffered from injuries.”
