I Would Have Cursed The New Statesman If… – Alhaji Grunsah

ec72547553898 48862 I Would Have Cursed The New Statesman If… Alhaji GrunsahIf not for the religious group he belongs to, Alhaji Karim Grunsah says he would have been ruthless on the New Statesman newspaper by raining curses on the Accra-based daily for publishing falsehoods about him.

The New Statesman reported in its Tuesday, February 11, 2014, edition that the bankroller of King Faisal Football Club, has served notice to pick up new Patriotic Party (NPP) forms and contest the party’s flagbearership position should Dr. Konadu Apraku join the race.

But the publication has been totally rubbished by Alhaji Grunsah when he spoke to Okay FM on Tuesday morning. He stated frankly that he abhors journalists who are only bent on mischief and publishing false news to make ends meet. According to him, he is a good friend of the former Trade Minister and onetime NPP presidential aspirant and would not want any media house to create enmity between them.

“I have known Apraku for a very long time. His father reared cattle with my clansmen and I do know him very well. There is no bad blood between us and if media houses want to increase their sales, they shouldn’t use my name. I would have cursed the person who did the story if I weren’t a Muslim”, he warned.
